This is a full-time role 14 days on, 7 days off roster - 10 hours per shift including dayshift. Meals and accommodation provided whilst on site, including private charter bus transport to/from Darwin.Who are we looking for?  Reporting to the Village Manager, you will have excellent customer service skills and ideally mine site experience. Your job will involve detailed cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and cleaning of kitchen and toilets. You will conduct all duties using appropriate cleaning methods, following cleaning policies and procedures and be able to complete them with in allocate timeframes. You will be required to respond in a timely manner to any adhoc cleaning request that require urgent attention. Time management will be key to this role as you will be allocated specific areas / duties to complete on your allocated shift.To be successful, you’ll need:  Able to undergo a pre-employment medical, including drug & alcohol testing and police check  Flexibility and willingness to work a variety of shifts and rosters.Previous experience in hospitality or industrial cleaning industry preferable in a remote environment, resort or mining campStrong safety awareness and exposure/understanding of handling and storing chemicalsA great attitude – enjoy going to work each swing!A strong commitment to high standards of customer service and integrityCurrent Driver's Licence is essential You will have gained experience in leading a small team to deliver to a very high standard. have a high level of organisational, customer service and interpersonal skills. You will take pride in your work, enjoy working in a cohesive team and thrive under pressure. Experience in managing a growing team. 
You must have strong safety awareness and safe work ethic with exceptional communication skills with some computer literacy. Be well presented at all times.You have bags of stamina and are fit and healthy, as you will spend most of your time on your feet. Your ability to work effectively in a team is very important. This is a hands-on role and having a positive can-do attitude is what we are looking for.
